More Info:http://silenttheatre.com/Upcoming_Events.html Description: "Welcome to the mysterious underground world of a traveling carnival. In the midst of fire breathers, fortune tellers, bestial tamers and natural freaks, a somber secret lies – a curse that binds them all together. With a live band and physical acts of carnival performance, this original dark fable by STC ensemble combines the styles of Tim Burton and Edward Gorey in a thrilling and enchanting ride through a world of whimsy and macabre." This show includes a large and fabulous cast, and features a live band that plays the music for each performance! Why does this concern Barb? I am designing and crafting all the costumes for this show! It is a very epic project for me as they have basically given me free range for designs - so you get to see some of my imagination really explode into life right before your eyes!! On some nights I will also be playing the part of the Figi Mermaid! She is just an extra so don't get too excited for my 'acting career', but it still should be loads of fun! Check out the more info page for some sketches of my designs!

my life is insane! :D i have a bajillion things to get through these next few weeks, from orders, to moving to a new apartment, and going to Tsubasacon. Wish me luck in my crazy time! But, after Halloween my life calms down a little and I can actually have some personal free time, and think about a few things here and there that don't have to do with work.
And then ... what am I really looking forward to? Making another large costume ... which winds up being directly related to work. -__- I think there may be something mentally wrong with me. However, Im having a hard time trying to think of a great new costume to make. Im thinking I want something large and ruffly, like a big dress or something. But, then I just dont know. There is a new Rosa costume out which Im eye-balling, and I have wanted to do Midna for the longest time but I want another bigger project to keep me satiated. :)
Im not sure if anyone noticed but I havent really found any time for costumes this year. I created the Rei plugsuit in the downtime of December, and then in Spring I made a Haruhi uniform, and a Barbarella costume for Dragon*con. The later two taking only about 3 hours each of my time! So I feel like im being called to another big project and yet I have no idea what...
I'm really excited today because re-launched limebarb.com yesterday. We worked non-stop for the past 3 days getting everything working. :3 I'm happy to finally be rid of the old page because it was extremely unprofessional looking to me, and i wanted something that better reflected us for a long time.
Thats all i really have to say right now. Its time to get back to sewing. ^_^ I'm trying to get everything done before anime iowa cause i hope i can go there this year. Weee!
